I can't remember the exact "bugs" that were described, but when I was visiting the iDVD discussion board at Apple's site, there was a handful of folks not happy with OS X 10.2.4 and wishing they had not updated.
I did upgrade to iMovie 3.0.1 and it seems fine... can't really tell any difference at all.
