Thanks for the info but your answers leave me with another question or two:

What is SUCP?

How do I save the older version of iPhoto or iMovie? It's more than just
copying the application and it's folder contents to another drive, right?
Don't I also have to copy accompanying files that are in places other
than the application folders? So how do I find out where these are?

BTW- I have a newer iBook.
