Previous to the 10.2.3 update, if you opened a folder full of jpegs or
gifs, selected all of them and opened them using Preview, you got a
window for each image.
That was then, this is now: (sorry about that)
if you have updated to 10.2.3, open a folder full of jpegs. select all
of them, drag them onto the Preview icon in the dock. Instead of a
whole bunch of windows (one for each jpeg), you will get one window
with a slide out tray full of thumbnails of the images. As you click on
a thumbnail the bigger version will be the main image in the window.
Beats Adobe Photoshop's image browser all to heck.
