"...if you have updated to 10.2.3, open a folder full of jpegs. select all of them, drag them onto the Preview icon in the dock. Instead of a whole bunch of windows (one for each jpeg), you will get one window with a slide out tray full of thumbnails of the images. As you click on a thumbnail the bigger version will be the main image in the window."
