As some have said, you probably are fighting a lost battle, but I administer
a half Windows, half Mac office and when it gets right down to it, 90% of my
hardware/software troubleshooting is on Windows machines, and 10% is on the
Macs, this includes things like software updates.

It'd be great if there is, or someone did a study on this. I have to
document my time for my grants, that's how I know what I spend, but it's not
a big enough pool of computers to get publishable results.
