I have several computers on a local network all running OS X 10.3 or
higher. I would like to create several different calendars in iCal
that could be shared -- that is, viewed and updated -- by various
groups of users on this local network. There is no server software
running on any of the local computers, it is a peer-to-peer network.

1. Is there a way I can do this without setting up a WebDAV enabled
server on my local network?

2. Could it be accomplished if only one of the group had a .Mac
account (and was willing to share the log in and password for that
account among the users)?

3. Could the Web server software built in to OS X be used to create
an intranet server on one of the network computers that could
accomplish this?

4. Could exporting/importing iCal events between the networked
computers accomplish much the same thing?

Any other thoughts?

Dan
