It sounds like you have a bad OS-8 cd. I will check to see if I still 
have one, if so I will sell it to you for $5 or so. Now the bad news, I 
will be out of town until Tuesday. If someone else is in town, they may 
be able to help you sooner.

Also, you might consider switching to TechTool Pro.
