Thanks, Russ, but I don't know how to unmount, it seems there is no drive anywhere. I can't find the LaCie icon, it does not show up in my System Profiler, cannot be found in my disk utility, it does not sit in the window with my hard drive etc. I sent an e-mail to LaCie. I did the plugging in- out procedure too many times. The connections seem to be OK. too.I wonder whether I need to reinstall the whole thing,Of course Silverkeeper is there and running. Marta
