There are two cords, the Firewire going from the brick to the computer, the other going into the wall ( here surge suppressor) with that dangling transformer with the small green light showing connection. That is all the connectors I have to work with. I know it is something foolish, but I am just incapable to get some life into this thing . It isn't even warming up , it was always warm to the touch. I have been working with both cords, with on and off ( had to get a magnifying glass to see which was which.) So I shall be resigned for awhile. I have efficiency now in plugging and unplugging. You can call me now the plugger madam. Marta
