Lee,

Thanks again.  I tried that one and went to get the Apple Firewire SDK  
and found that it could not be downloaded without being an Apple  
Developer.

I am now looking at Eye TV but so far it seemed that they continue to  
talk about "over the air" television or analogue (which is going away)  
so I have written to them for an all digital solution.   Probably  
won't hear back from them until Monday.
