This new iPhoto 9 only comes as part of the iLife package. Am I right? Can you tell me what I get as "life" here and what does that "life" cost me? Maybe I rather stay dead. I can't remember having bought an iLife before. I bought the iWork once and never actually used it

What am I ,as old as I am, missing in iLife 9? You must have some experience.

Rick,

You are RIGHT! I have spent hours going through almost 5,000 pictures using the "faces" feature and am almost done. Previously I had done as you and listed combinations of people in the description area of the photo and could search the keywords for just those two. I had not tried this under the new iPhoto until your email and no matter how I fiddled with it this no longer works. Bummer and we should complain to Apple about this so they will add it back in, I sure intend to.

Thanks for finding this.

Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken, but this seems to be a new
(and dumb) behavior in iPhoto 09.
 In the previous version of iPhoto, I tagged everyone in my pictures
using the keywords field.
To search for them, I could just type their name. To find a picture
with multiple people I would just type both of their names.
For example, if I wanted to find just pictures of my mom and my sister
together, i could type "Mom" and "Sis" in the search field.

Only pictures with *both* of them in it would show up.

Now, in iPhoto 09, typing "Mom" and "Sis" shows all pictures with
*either* of them in the photo.

This is not a good way of doing things. Am I missing something?
