iLife '09 has a lot of interesting new features, comes with the  
aforementioned iPhoto, along with iMovie, iDVD, GarageBand and iWeb  
and costs $79. Probably the reason why you have never had to pay for  
it is that it always comes free with a new Mac. I guess you'll have to  
go get a new computer then.  ::-)

That said, I don't think there is really anything in the package that  
you would find all that all that compelling. The faces trick is nice  
in iPhoto, but I don't think that, by itself, is worth eighty bucks.

All the other tools received moderate upgrades, but I suspect you've  
never used them before, so you really don't have anything to relate  
them to.
