The link I sent with the reply was to show you others are having the
problem. I too can not save an email to my desktop though I never do
such a thing I tried it after you posted the question.
It is a well documented problem on Apples message-board.
I would uninstall Safari 4 if this is something you do all the time. I
practice zero email box
so I try and deal with the emails straight away most of my emails are
questions from students or mailing lists.
