Anne,

The 5.8 means less interference if you meed snooping.  It was my  
understanding the 5.8 MHz was more secure from intrusion but it has a  
much shorter range.

I will send you a comparison of the 900 mhz vs 2.4 ghz at your  
personal email for the screenshot makes it too large for the list.
