I know you can daisy chain the Firewire drives but I'm not sure about
the USB. FYI, should you ever need it, I'm pretty sure  you can do
this with about 50 Firewire drives, maybe more.

Or you can add a USB hub pretty cheaply for all four or just the USB drives.
