Interesting-
Three of the four have the USB port, in addition to the 2 firewire ports. I may experiment with those into a hub to see how it acts. I thought it would be ok to connect them all, but wanted to check with more experienced users.

Thanks again,

I know you can daisy chain the Firewire drives but I'm not sure about
the USB. FYI, should you ever need it, I'm pretty sure you can do
this with about 50 Firewire drives, maybe more.

Or you can add a USB hub pretty cheaply for all four or just the USB drives.

I have 4 different external hard drives. I have used them for backups/ extra space/ storing data temporarily/ etc..., but now I want to organize and use them more effectively. I can plug them into my MacBook Pro one at a time, but I was wondering if I can plug each one into the other, and then into the Mac. They are each a different brand, but each has two firewire ports. Can I daisy-chain all 4 together and end in the Mac? Is 4 too many? Will 2 work
together?

Thanks,
