I had a G4 iBook fall 3 stories, in a bucket, inside a padded carry case, from a roof i was working on. Holding my breath, i started it up, not a thing wrong with it. If it can take that kind of "banging around", i am satisfied. This was 4 years ago, recently i upgraded the RAM and put a new drive in it, to have a larger drive, not because the old one failed.
