Here's a question: what do you use for a hook up when you are traveling? Being in a hotel is not the problem, but being in a private house (yours or your friend's) is! I have AOL dial up for those times, but I HATE IT. Mostly this is a problem when we are in Naples Florida. Do you use the Verizon "card", or the AT &T one" Why can't Insight be a help in this?

Maybe we should get Marta to call on behalf of all of us.

The increase isn't just on Insight. Comcast, DirecTV and I think Dish
just upped their prices in response to one of the channel's demand for
higher fees. Fox I think?

A la carte service would be sooo nice.

WE have all three from Insight, TV, telephone and computer, lowest, also

We now pay generally $ 149.00- 159.00.
Yes, I had mine reduced. I play the old lady needing a reduction or that I will use my cell phone only, also will forget about internet altogether etc. I go down the line with them, telling them what I don't need, and it is amazing how sweet they can get when you mention all these other carriers.
I am paying now about $ 20.00 less than last summer.
I always simply ask what they can do for me before I cancel one or two of my
services. It works. They don't seem to have cut and dried fees.

Bill,
I know and feel the same pain. Our bill is almost $180.00 without any of
the movie channels and no phone. I have the 20 meg download.
In my area AT&T is stringing fiber. I have talked to many of the linemen as they work in the area. They say soon we will have speeds as good or better
than cable, I guess that is why Insight is going to go to 30 meg.
I am sure going to check with AT&T and at least use them as a hammer with
the cable company but so far they have not turned the service on.

Hey all,
Our Insight bill jumped $7.15 to a (ridiculous) $114.73 for TV + lowest tier
of internet. It seems that others we know (who are not on introductory
plans) pay far less. A couple of questions:
. Do others on this list get gouged so badly?
. Is it at all possible to find the pricing of Insight's services? I cannot
find anything other than 'introductory' prices.
. My step-daughter claims that I should just call up and threaten to shut off the service. Supposedly this will cause them to offer some lower-priced service. Has anyone ever done this well? I would think I need some sort of alternative to threaten them with... but I couldn't find alternatives when
searching around.
Thanks for any hints.
