I am using BBG without WiFi and I am happy with them. They just don't
have HDMI output.

The new image boots now if I recall correctly. The wifi chip doesn't
work though, so not all that useful atm and I grew tired of working on
it via serial.
The wifi driver for mere mortals currently only works with pre-packaged
kernels, and xenomi wasn't one of them.
