I have a 16/600 PS LaserWriter on my LAN so I guess I must have AppleTalk active. I recall from years back that AppleTalk might slow down ethernet browsing activity on the WWW. Is that still the case today? I've been making AppleTalk inactive but that frustrates my wife when she trys to print. She doesn't want to learn how to turn on AppleTalk. (I could script the activation if that's my only option. Surely she could run that.) 7600/G3, 8500/G3, and a B&W all running versions of OS9. Any thoughts?
