Just reporting back on this: There was one suggestion that I could find a chipset and with some cabling make the iMac monitor work for the other Mac. This seems like a good idea but is beyond my level of skill. I also tried ScreenRecycler - it works quite nicely and gave me a window on my iMac that worked perfectly as a second screen for the other Mac. The feel is a bit Kludgy, though - not the fault of the software, but more about mouse control, and UI feel. This is clearly not what my old iMac was designed for, so I'm back to two Macs, and dealing with figuring out how to make the most of it. Thank you for all of your help! _______________________________________________ MacOSX-talk mailing list [email protected] http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/macosx-talk
