How do I make site X change from a tiny column of main story in the middle to the main story being the full width of the window, so I can use narrow windows?

Ah, for that I would use Readability (and I do use it very often). The built=in "reader" in Safari5 is also very good at dealing with this.

Nice. Can I use "NoScript" and "Adblock Plus" with either of them? I can do without all of my other plugins.

Over at drunkduck, fonts used for text are tiny.

Preferences -> Advanced -> Never use font sizes smaller than [9-12,14,18,24]

But that's what I'm trying to avoid. I can do that in FF as well.

The problem? Well, Google Docs, for example, I need to be able to specify font sizes and have them work. Using minimum font sizes breaks a lot of sites that stupidly assume "It looks good to my 20 year old eyes on my monitor, so I'll use fixed pixel spacing of all my different elements", and result in horrible overlap and unreadable displays and text, or clipped text that doesn't fully display at all.

To fix that, I need to be able to specify on per-site basis what font overrides to use / not use.
