Personally, I have only used the mini mode once to see what it looked like, and
then went back to full screen. Again, personally, I simply don't understand
what purpose the mini mode serves. I open iTunes, select the play list I want,
start playing, and then hide the app. If I need to make a change, I show the
app, make the change and then hide it again. That is my style of usage for all
apps for that matter, I never have any app showing other than the one I'm
actively working in, and use quick app shifting to switch to hidden apps only
when I need them.

I wonder if desktop users with large monitors are more likely to have more apps
showing. Since I switched to laptop only nearly 10 years ago, I'm guessing my
"style" has developed into a small monitor optimized usage.

Borrow money from pessimists--they don't expect it back.
