nope, not kidding. Thinking from an average users perspective.  I suspect a lot 
more do, it is anecdotal but everyone one of my friends tends to leave it as 
mini-controlled unless they have to go into the full app to manage something 
directly.  I was thinking of the many, many complaints when they messed with 
how one gets to the mini-controller.
