I just moved fonts in and out of the Fonts folder on Mac OS 9.1 until I
isolated the bad suitcase.

But no, I don't need it to be in the first 8GB.  That's for non-USB PowerBooks.

So now I have Mac OS X running.  I still hate the UI about as much as I did
in the public beta, so I don't anticipate I will be running it much.  :-)

Thanks for the info on building perl, I have that, and the MySQL building
info, and the stuff from Bob Dalgleish, so I need to play with it all later.
