Just a correction so you realize who the ignorant party is. The
installer was Apple's which, if Tenon should have tested--they would
have shown the damage.
For example, another, better principled developer named Dantz pulled
their beta product when they discovered the damage Apple's Package
Manager was doing. Not so Tenon. Check out the facts and verify before
you call someone ignorant.
Yes it's a free market, but I am entitled to my opinion as are you.
Because I don't agree with you does not make me ignorant nor you
superior in knowledge or intellect.
When someone lauds a commercial product in a user forum and I believe
my experience and that of others differs, I feel it is important that
others hear the dissent so they can know there are two sides and make
their own informed choices in the market place. That is why we have user
forums: to share experiences and opinions. That is also why many vendors
don't like them--the dirty laundry get's aired, not the carefully
controlled information on the vendor site. Apparently you don't share
that belief.
