@INC troubles and fun

OK, I have dug up some information I found some time ago... The  
standard (Tiger) implementation of @INC can be modified or added to  
via: /Library/Perl/5.8.6/AppendToPath

I am assuming the equivalent in any installed version exists, but  
this will sort out 5.8.6.

I think that might help some headaches.
