second these, and add

    - shift-arrowkeys to select and unselect text
    - allow blocks of text to be shifted left or right
    - auto-conversion of TAB chars to n spaces
    - allow soft-wrapping of text to be turned on and off

also agree with raising the 32K bar just a wee bit. :)

the dratted scrolling bug is also annoying
