Hello all,

I think that nobody in the moment is willing to invest programming
effort to improve the editor. This is understandable because it
can become a neverending job. You would need to have good C
and Toolbox understanding I presume. To speak about myself
I forgot all I knew about this after falling in love with Perl.

Wouldn't it be best to leave the editor as it is. There a great
Mac editors around which support MacPerl programming to a very
high degree.

What would be fine is getting rid of the most annoying bugs though.
I think they are the cursor movement at the beginning of lines
and the DEL key. You cannot edit blindly.

I vote for no new features and if possible bug fixing step by
step.
