By now, the CPAN mirrors should be working, try those. FWIW, CPAN is up and running fine re: 5.6.1r2. I used the web installer and it worked very quick indeed (albeit with a network connection). Good stuff: and this on a 5400 with 104 MB RAM. Now to try running CPAN ;-) Regards, Phil.
