Hi,

I had the exact opposite when I called.

the Rep was friendly and I asked if I were to order SL would I get it by
Friday, she said yes if you order by 1 PM my local time.  I said now is
good.

She also asked me when I purchased my Mac.  I told her June 5 from
amazon.com.  She even looked up my Macs searial number.  Told me exactly
where to find it.


She also asked where I worked to try and get an educational discount.

My experience with Apple and purchasing my SL upgrade was a pleasant one.
