Phew, thank you both!

I just went in and tweaked my settings.  The key for me seemed to be make it 
look like my Mac is sending from my phone number.

I sware a long time ago, I had it set up like this and things were in sync 
nicely.

*Shrugs,* fingers crossed this works out well.  I have several iMessage 
contacts, but they are not all tech savvy.  ;)  Goodness, knows how they store 
my information.

If I can keep it simple, all in 1 window, the better.

BTW, a few minutes before typing this, I received a iMessage, it showed up on 
my Mac/iPhone simultaneously.  Very nice!  My reply to the message appeared on 
both devices as well.
