Hi,

The Auto-Login feature is in the Users & Groups pane of System Preferences.
When in that pane, unlock the pane with your Admin password, then Interact with
the Users, Groups & Login Options list and select the Login Options item at the
bottom of the list. Stop Interacting with that list then VO-right once to the
Automatically Login pop-up menu item. You can choose the user you wish
auto-logged in from that menu. You will be required to enter the users
password to set things up in this manner. Regarding a null password, it’s
allowable within the MacOS, although you’ll be given a warning about it’s
obvious lack of security.

By the way, I must have missed or ignored the original post about being burned
by Yosemite. What was your initial issue with the login?

Later...
