Hi there I'm not sure since I haven't gotten a new Mac lately, but is not iWork's already installed on new Macintosh computers? So it seems to me that she will probably get it anyway. I think it comes free with all new Macintoshes. Also, the last I heard, office for the Mac cost $150, so if it's not accessible, but will be spending extra money they don't have to. Gigi
