I agree. My impression after the first 24 hours is quite favorable. I didn't think I would ever use it to message people, but in fact i did that this afternoon, and it was very easy once I got it figured out.
Like any first release it has room to grow. Better battery life would be good, as would a faster processor. As to your comments re the watch face, I would recommend playing with different faces. they're all a little different, and depending on what your after, different ones might suit your needs. Or, configuring the default might do it.
