I have long since suspected that Apple will, eventually, discontinue the classic view in Mail. This is just my opinion, of course.
The funny thing is, whenever I see non-voiceOver users, including those in the Apple store, using Mac Mail, they are not using the classic view. I realize that the number of people I interact with is less than miniscule but it is an indication of something, I dare say. The truth is, again in my opinion, when used correctly, the standard view is unbeatable. Again, just my opinion. I’d resent it, but the only way of avoiding the horrible, terrible slowdowns in Mail presently seems to be not to use that view. Deliberate sabotage so Apple can obsolete that view and further solidify the iOSification of the Mac? :) Must try MailMate again soon, to see where we stand with that. I’d sure love an alternative to Mail. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
