Oh, Janine, that is so awful it's funny!  My niece was trying to fly home 
during hurricane Sandy.  Needless to say her flight was canceled.  It was one 
of those days when anything that could go wrong did, and finally, very upset 
and frustrated, she went to use the airport restroom.  And, you guessed it, she 
dropped her iPhone in the toilet.  It was the crowning blow to a truly awful 
day.
Happily I guess, I've been lucky, but I've never had any such experiences.  
(Although now, having posted several messages to that effect, I'm starting to 
get very nervous that I'm tempting fate.) lol
