I know my own frailities Donna and handling a phone is one. Also, working a guide dog, you just never know what could happen. that said, I want a good phone case that will protect it should I drop it, anywhere. Otterbox and some of the Life Proof cases seem to be the best options there.
A friend has a Golden Retriever who is a field trial champion. She has a great picture of him retrieving her phone from a muddy lake. He’s holding it as he comes out of the reeds with the Life Proof case showing proudly. the phone was fine. I also find that I have a hard time working with a phone outside of a case. I don’t like the screen to extend all the way to the edges and I know that’s what Apple and other phone makers think people want. It will be frustrating to see if they use the space taken up by the 3.5 mm headphone jack as new screen realestate. That’s where I put my thumb to hold the darn thing after all.
