Wow!!! I'm vacationing right now so wasn't watching this unfold yesterday. I am really surprised - I felt sure that the remain camp would win. That said, the concept of the EU has always seemed flawed to me in that there are some huge cultural differences in the countries involved, and those differences inevitably will impact each country's economic situation, which in turn impacts the rest of the EU. It will be interesting to see if other countries decide to follow the UK's lead.
