The only thing is that if you need both environments at one time then vm fusion is the better option but I do prefer windows in bootcamp rather than vm

I second the recommendation to use Bootcamp. Since Vmware is a virtual environment, you only have access to part of the resources of your machine. Naturally, this makes Windows run slower than it normally would. With Bootcamp, you have access to all of your resources.
