I have checked the alerts and all of them seem to work. A lot of them are disabled by default and the customizability takes a while to fit everyone's needs. The alert method at the bottom of the alert screen for each alert type chosen in the pop ups has two options, built-in and growl. It's definitely better to have growl alerts with the speech setting on, but i can't have messages read by grolw at this point, probably due to some switch in the skype updated api.
The settings are getting there but not to the point of satisfaction as of yet. Best regards.
