hi group.

first, I am a new user of mac, and I have recently joined the list. I do own an iphone from some time, so I am familiar with voiceover with IOS. I have few questions:

1. how do I browse webpages with the errow keys? I set navigation to DOM, then I use vo+right errow key to move through the page bit by bit, like I would use the errow keys alone with windows screen readers. I appreciate that the mac works differently, however, I think there exists an easier way that I am not aware of.

2, how do I open my applications menu? if I go to the doc and then navigate to applications, then press that using vo+space, nothing happens and vo doesn't read my applications. a sighted friend confirmed that the application list does open.

3. what resources exist about voiceover for the mac apart from the excellent getting started guide on apple website, and the builtin help, this group, and perhaps bits here and there from macaccessibilities? is there something like www.applevis.com but this time for the mac?

thanks alot.

Mohammed Al-shara.
