Hi, Sorry, the docs are in error re: the camera being seen in image capture. This is true of scanners but not the camera. The camera should, however, show in the scanning sources list when you first scan. We have seen blank pages come up if the focus isn't set properly. Try turning the focus knob (a ridged ring around the lens) and try in different positions. We're still nailing this setting down, as apparently it's changed a little from the preproduction units to the production ones. Oh, also, ignore the USB hub that came with it.
