Hi Missy, As a note, I repaired permissions in mostly the way TIm describes, except for first booting into the recovery partition just to be safe. I wanted to make sure the OS wasn't being used in any way which might prevent repairs. That can be done by holding cmd-r as the machine reboots. Best, Zack.
