I would not hesitate to ask Apple for any fix you can think of, big or small. 
They can prioritize things, but they will never know to fix a problem if they 
don't know it exists. As to clicks, you can mute vo through the help menus 
(vo-h) or by setting up a keyboard or trackpad commander to do it.
