After hours of setting everything back up, I now have more issues than when I
started. Every time I go to delete an email from my imap mail accounts I get an
error saying message can't be moved to the trash folder. When I go to move
forward in the thread, I have to use the back button

There must be something I don't understand about iCloud

Should I delete my iCloud account and start that fresh? Any help may save the
life of an iPhone

Thanks
