an optical drive plays and write Cds/Dvds. You can get both internal and
external optical drives, called super drives.
To change VoiceOver settings press vo-f8. If you have function keys set
for hardware functions, which it is by default, you need to add fn to
the combination. Also vo is control-option, kind of like a modifier.
