to selelvian:
changing the contrycode in eeprom from 0x0000 to 0x0021 does not help the
txpower increase to 26db.
ar5k can not work with ar5005 or ar5006 chipset because of HW write
protect. but you can find and ar5004 card to do some test.
I think you can check your NMP8602 card in windows using ACU and make
sure the card can set its txpower to 26db.
PS: My card is ar5006EXS and the max txpower under windows always 50mw.
it is strange also.
