so that original regdomain of the card didn't match with countrycode 300
too - happens soooo often, that vendors sell cards , which have regdomains
incompatible with countrycode of country where they sell them ... i have
plenty of cards like that

so what do u suggest as a solution to this "problem" ?
Trying different countrycodes until I find a correct combination ?
And all the strange stuff is when I was testing the cards in adhoc in my
room everything was allright. When I put them on the big link (3.5km) with
parabolic dishes (80cm) the cards could hardly see each other. Of cource
when I replaced those atheros cards with the dwl520+(acx100) the link was
brought to life and I got 840kbyte/s. In comparison: atheros
txpower=16dBm, acx100 txpower=18dBm, atheros sensitivity=0/3, acx100
sens=176/255
This is why I'm looking the txpower & sensitivity parameteres..
Anyway, I hope someday I'll be able to use atheros cards with madwifi-ng
on an outer link.
