Comment (by [EMAIL PROTECTED]):
My problems with the 5212 are much less severe than most people's here
(SuSE 10.2, 0.9.3.3, talking to a WHR-G125 running DD-WRT v24rc1 at 56mW
xmit, 40 feet across my house):
I get occasional loss of association to my AP; sometimes it can auto-
reassociate... sometimes I have to force it manually through
networkmanager, and just occasionally, it won't sync up for a while.
I've tried the suggested
iwpriv ath0 bgscan 0 ff 0 burst 0 protmode 0
and so far it hasn't dropped on me since, though I don't know if that's
data yet.
I cannot connect at *all*, though, to my office wifi, a Belkin running
WEP128 (or, indeed, any WEP128 AP). Given the good results people seem to
be seeing with SVN, can anyone make a projection as to when 0.9.4 will be
pinched off?
I see that all 0.9.5 tickets are closed on the roadmap, but only 3/15 for
0.9.4, does that mean that we'll jump directly to .5 when the .4 tickets
close? :-)
